At Parties On Purpose, we believe the most meaningful events begin with a purpose. And when we had the opportunity to help bring Operation Shower to life, our goal was to create more than a beautiful baby shower. We wanted every family in attendance to feel the love behind the occasion, from the design of the space to the smallest details of the guest experience.

Operation Shower is a national nonprofit organization that hosts baby showers for military families to ease the stress of deployment and separation by celebrating their growing families and providing essential baby items. These celebrations recognize the unique experiences of military life and remind service members and their families that their communities are thinking of them.

For many military families, pregnancy and preparing for a new baby can come with additional challenges, especially when a loved one is deployed or military responsibilities create time apart. Operation Shower helps make this season a little brighter by bringing families together and surrounding them with support.

For this year’s Operation Shower, we leaned into a soft, playful design featuring baby blues, teddy bears, and sweet details that brought the celebration to life. The look was designed to feel welcoming, thoughtful, and full of the excitement that comes with welcoming a new little one.

Baby blue set the tone for this year’s Operation Shower, bringing a soft, timeless feel to the celebration. We wanted the design to feel sweet and welcoming while still delivering the polished, thoughtfully styled look the POP team is known for.

Working with a cohesive color palette helped tie the event together, creating a consistent look throughout the space. The soft blue tones complemented the teddy bear details perfectly, adding to the charm of the design without overwhelming it.

No baby shower design is complete without a few sweet details, and the teddy bears were one of our favorite touches at this year’s Operation Shower. Paired with the baby-blue color palette, they brought a playful, nostalgic feel to the event while adding warmth and personality to the overall design.

We love incorporating details that connect directly to the occasion, and teddy bears felt like the perfect fit for a celebration centered on growing families and new beginnings. They added a touch of childhood charm while helping tie the design together in a way that felt cohesive, thoughtful, and fun.
