Something you may not know about us is that we LOVE to plan large scale corporate events! Each event is so vastly different and we love working through all of the challenges that come along with these big celebrations.
We were thrilled when our friends over at Nirvana reached out to us to plan a grand opening event for the Cookies brand in Tempe. We knew this brand had a huge fan base and following, so we knew this would be a big deal! The event took place in the middle of summer outside in the new facility’s parking lot. We knew from the start that keeping the thousands of attendees cool and hydrated throughout the day was going to be of top priority. We collaborated with some of our most trusted local vendors to make it all happen!
Set up began the night before and into the early morning hours before the event. We unloaded turf, tents, stanchions, decor, coolers, misting fans, bathroom stalls, and got the property ready to bring in food trucks. Guests camped out the evening before to be sure they were among the very first customers in the store. It was awesome to see! The whole day, the line was wrapped around the building. People were dedicated, even in the summer heat, to be there and experience this Cookies launch.
For the VIPS, we created an awesome lounge area where they could kick back and enjoy the party. We brought in beautiful furniture groupings and customized the backdrop with the Cookies logo. There was also a giant marquee sign with balloons for guests to take pictures in front of as they waited in line.
Some of the brands most influential people showed up in a giant branded bus. It was so cool! The event was bumping with great music and great vibes all day. We will remember it forever!
