When one of your favorite clients is turning 6… you travel to Chicago to make his birthday dreams come true! We are so thankful for this sweet family who still trusts us with planning their celebrations, even from across the country. London’s dad is a retired Chicago Bulls player and London (the birthday boy) wanted his birthday sleepover with his friends to be Bulls themed. We were so excited to put this party design together.

This was a fun sleepover party for the birthday boy and his closest pals! We brought in adorable Bulls themed teepee beds decked out with all sorts of basketball inspired props, blankets, banners, pillows, and more!

The backdrop was the focal point of the room and we absolutely love how this creative design came together. One of the backdrop panels served as a “Team Shop” displaying adorable basketball hoop favor baskets and the cutest drink cups. We also had our custom illustrator create the most epic cartoon graphics of London as a Bulls player in his uniform dribbling and dunking at the hoop!

Above the backdrop was one of our favorite details of the entire party… a ceiling installation with fringe tassels and balloons. It really transformed a standard hotel room into a full on party!

And what’s a basketball party without a concessions stand of snacks?! We had fully customized chip bags made with London’s graphic on them as well as stickers that we put on popcorn containers and cotton candy tubs. There were also lots of candy options for the kids to choose from!

We had custom tattoos made of London and all access passes for London and his friends to wear as they entered into the room. We turned off all the lights and had the room pitch black with disco lights going and a hype up song playing with the infamous Bulls intro tune as London and his friends walked in. It was so much fun to watch London’s reaction – he cried of joy! It was the cutest thing to witness and is exactly why we do what we do! Thank you for having us, London and family!!!
