We helped Vivienne throw the most epic “Coachella” inspired 8th birthday party ever!!

When one of our lovely friends and repeat clients contacted us to plan Vivienne’s birthday party again this year, we were thrilled! Vivienne and her family wanted to create a cool and super fun music festival vibe in their backyard.

One of the very first pieces of inspiration for this party was an amazing canopy tent that the clients just had to have! We made it happen and of course had to create a custom entry way for guests to walk through when they arrived. We love an entrance that builds excitement! (And serves as a photo op at the same time!)

Since Vivienne and her friends love to sing, the stage and microphones were the focal point of the event. We added such a fun backdrop with custom Vivienne details and balloons to make the stage area pop. One thing we absolutely love to do for kids parties is to have an artist create a custom illustration of the birthday boy or girl, then use it around the event to make it ultra-custom and cute!

Our girl Candice was on the turn tables, DJing fun hits for the kids to enjoy and sing along to.

Low picnic tables were set up for the kids to lounge at. How cute are the place settings? We also added in those custom Vivienne stickers to the cups so that Vivienne was the star everywhere guests turned!

One of our all-time favorite details of this party was the custom merchandise stand we created. Adorable and fun t-shirts with Vivienne’s face on them were there for guests to grab along with the cutest trucker hats to take home and remember the day by!

This party had allll the activities – from making your own friendship bracelets or “kandi” as festival-goers often call them, crafting flower crowns, and hair braiding and tinsels done by a professional!

To dine on, guests had their pick at visiting two food trucks – one with pizzas and salad, the other with burgers and fries! We also brought in the most amazing ice cream cart station that had toppings and syrups galore. We love the custom detailing on the spoons, cups, and cart as well!

All in all… we wish we could relive this party over and over again! Coachella eat your heart out!
