Italian Party

Ciao bella! We’re so thrilled to share this incredible Italian themed event from this spring! Our lovely clients wanted to throw a huge bash celebrating the end of the school year for their kids, plus it was their son Dia’s birthday! They love traveling to Italy and wanted to immerse their guests into that same relaxed and welcoming nature of the Italian culture for their celebration. Here’s what we created for them!

As guests entered the courtyard of our client’s home, they were greeted instantly by the sound of sweet Italian accordion music humming in their ears. The courtyard already looks like a European villa, so it was not hard to feel like you were instantly transported to the Italian countryside! Guests were delighted by receiving a non-alcoholic limoncello as they entered the space and catching their sights on a mime wandering through the area and interacting with them. We created a beautiful backdrop for each family to take photos with featuring the leaning tower of Pisa as well as a vespa and gondola boat, all garnished with stunning balloons! Large marquee lights spelling “CIAO” showed guests the way into the main event space in the backyard.

Entering in to the main lawn area, we delighted the senses with pops of color everywhere! We had a fun bounce house / ball pit combo inflatable and added in fun decals to add to the Italian vibe. Guests could sit at classic round tables, or kick back on one of the many grass areas where we set down blankets, pillows, and poufs for a more relaxed feel. A statement arch piece showed guests that there was even more to see just beyond the hedges!

There was certainly no shortage of activities for all of the kids to partake in. We offered succulent making, face painting, balloon twisting, basketball drills, and even had a video game truck come out! All the kids had such a blast!!!

What was there to eat you ask? We had so many amazing things for guests to try! Charcuterie, salad, pasta, and pizza were on the main dinner menu for the evening. How much more Italian can it get? We’ll tell you! We also had an Italian soda bar where gets could create whatever concoction they wanted out of over fourteen different types of syrup flavors. We also brought in a gelato cart that served delicious flavors like pistachio and even mango sorbet. The dessert cart was an adorable vehicle with an array of classic Italian desserts to choose from, from pizzelles, zeppole, tiramisu cake pops, and even cannolis made fresh!

We are so thrilled with how this event turned out. It was clear everyone in attendance had a wonderful time and so did we! We just loved bringing a little slice of Italy to Arizona and we hope we can do it again. Ciao!
